System description
The CLASSIC technique helps us create the appearance of finely blurred lines which form a delicate pattern. A sense of depth is created with soft and less sharp lines. The currently interesting and fashionable appearance of raw concrete is created with the DECOR Marmorin range of gray shades.

Technique instructions

Surface Preparation:

  1. The surface must be dry, solid, and free from oil stains and similar impurities.
  2. Smooth the surface with DECOR Smooth Relief or JUBOLIN P15 to a total thickness of 3 mm. Once dried, sand and remove the dust.
  3. Apply ACRYL Emulsion diluted with water at a 1:1 ratio to the dried layer of DECOR Smooth Relief or JUBOLIN P15.

Application Technique:

  1. Using a trowel, apply DECOR Marmorin in a very thin layer (~0.1-0.5 mm) on an area of 0.5 to 1 m².
  2. Apply a second layer of DECOR Marmorin in the same way.
  3. With increased pressure on the trowel, achieving a smooth finish, apply the final layer of DECOR Marmorin. A high gloss surface is achieved by polishing the dry surface.
  4. After complete drying, or after 24 hours, begin applying DECOR Wax. Apply with a stainless steel trowel in as thin a layer as possible. After 3 hours, repeat the procedure.
  5. When the final layer of DECOR Wax is completely dry (approximately 24 hours), begin polishing. Polishing can be done manually or mechanically. For machine polishing, use a lambswool polishing tool. Start polishing at low speed; as the surface begins to gain gloss, slightly increase the speed. For manual polishing, use a dedicated decorative trowel and, with even movements and slightly stronger pressure on the surface, go over the entire surface.
