Even on colder days, we all strive to improve our living environment, both in terms of energy efficiency of the building and comfort of living in it. However, some buildings cannot be thermally insulated from the outside for various reasons, and the high investment is often the reason for postponing the implementation of thermal insulation of the facade to a later date.
In the above cases, the right solution is the application of thermal putty and appropriate paint in the interior. Our JUPOL Thermo system, which consists of the JUBOLIN Thermo levelling compound and the JUPOL Thermo interior paint, is a simple and quick solution for poorly insulated houses, because with the aforementioned system the concrete wall will no longer be cold to the touch. The system reduces the possibility of moisture condensation and prevents the formation of mould, while at the same time ensuring energy savings.
Hollow fillers for a feeling of warmth and preventing the formation of wall mould
JUBOLIN Thermo levelling compound contains tiny hollow balls filled with gas, which create a thermal barrier throughout the entire thickness of the dried paint film, giving the feeling of a warmer and more pleasant surface. In combination with the internal thermal insulation paint JUPOL Thermo, the thermal insulation effect is further increased. The hollow fillers in the products thus allow the temperature on the surface of the coating to be higher than with classic putty or paint, which reduces the possibility of water vapor condensation. If this does occur, the water on the surface dries faster than with classic wall paints. This reduces the possibility of wall mould, which is conventionally suppressed chemically.
JUPOL and JUBOLIN Thermo products do not require additional biocidal film protection, except in exceptional cases when conditions are extremely unfavourable (basement, large thermal bridges, etc.).
Energy savings and care for the environment
Using the JUPOL Thermo system also enables energy savings. Using both products in the system ensures heating savings of up to 2.90 EUR/m² of facade surface per year. Reduced energy consumption for heating also means fewer CO₂ gas emissions per year, which means that by installing the JUPOL Thermo system we also contribute to protecting the environment.
The system is distinguished by a long life span – when installed correctly, JUBOLIN Thermo has high adhesion to the concrete surface (> 0.8 MPa), which means that it will not move away from the surface, and the JUPOL Thermo interior paint with washability class III allows cleaning of minor stains and therefore maintains a beautiful appearance for a longer time.
